Third cape for me.

It's been weeks without sewing.  I was eager to start a new project but had trouble deciding what I wanted to tackle.  I bought a plaid wool at the Creativ Festival with the intent of putting it away and using it for my cape.  After doing a cape for Shannon and for MIL, I didn't think I would tackle a third so soon, but here I go again.

I hope this doesn't err on the side of Sherlock Holmes.

I have to take some extra prep time as I need to match up the pattern lines in the fabric by first doing some basting.  I think I will do a bound buttonhole for the top button but otherwise the construction will be the same as before.
